Racks // Reverse Hyper // Walk Through

Happy Friday!  Welcome to the Iron Made Gym Newsletter.  Our goal with this production is to share information with our unique community that will help you reach your goals.

The gym remodel was began at 7:30pm on Easter Eve and was completed at 2:30am Easter morning.  This could not have been completed without the help of Paul James, Matt Brenner, Matt McCullough, and Noah Eckman.  These guys are genuine hard workers and model what being the Iron Made Family is all about.  When you see them, be sure to thank them for their hard work and dedication in making our facility the best for everyone.  Thank you to all of those who gave us feedback on how the new layout looks and functions.
Our newest additions to our facility are two EliteFTS 3×3 collegiate power racks.  Safety features:  either spotter bar can be used for any exercise however the black rods allow for the spotter bars to flex thus absorbing some of the impact of the weight (great for rack pulls).  This will help keep the bars integrity in tact when a bar is lowered quickly.  Band pegs:  pegs at the top are used for the lightened method where the bands are assisting the lifter in pulling the weight up.  Bottom pegs are used to add resistance during any movement and provide extra tension during lockout.  Four J-hooks are provided with each rack which accommodates a lifter inside the rack and a lifter to work outside the rack.  We also have a single leg squat attachment (available for use) and dip attachment coming soon.  These are the best racks in the available and have been tested by the strongest athletes around the world, we hope you enjoy them and their versatility.
We added a reverse hyper machine from Westside Barbell.  Louie Simmons is the creator of this machine and you can use it EVERY SINGLE DAY!  In this video he explains why it was created, what issues it resolves, how to execute the exercise, and how to implement it into your training.  Do your back a favor and use this piece.

Our man Nick Workman at The Quick Geek LLC did an updated virtual tour of our facility.  You can view it here:

“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:
 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.”
